Coca-Cola made worldwide headlines on April 23, 1985, when the company announced that it was changing its formula after nearly a century. The move was met with widespread public backlash. Retired Seattle businessman Gay Mullins organized the Old Cola Drinkers of America, leading boycotts, lobbying for legislation, and mobilizing consumers. Less than three months later, Coca-Cola brought back its original formula, rebranded as Coca-Cola Classic. In this 1985 Fight Back! With David Horowitz clip, David challenges Mullins to a blind taste test, asking him to try three different soft drinks — regular Coke, New Coke, and Pepsi — to see if he can really taste the difference. #retro #cocacola #tastetest #nostalgia
