In this 1983 Fight Back! investigation, David Horowitz reports on the serious health risks of PCBs — toxic chemicals used in electrical equipment like transformers and capacitors that can cause cancer.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency banned the production of PCBs in 1979, but older equipment containing them was still allowed under controlled conditions. When this equipment caught fire, PCBs exposed firefighters, workers, and bystanders to cancer-causing chemicals. #fire #pcb
